I have been working at SGS Quay Pharmaceuticals for over five years, starting in an analytical role and progressing into a quality assurance (QA) role. Within QA, I covered all areas of quality, providing support and guidance across all departments.

Since then, I have progressed into my current role as QA Manager. Within this role, I manage the QMS and QA team in day-to-day activities, ensuring full GMP compliance and adherence to procedure. I ensure that all processes are robust and that the manufactured pharmaceutical product is safe, quality-compliant and suitable for the intended market.

As well as being involved in projects from initiation through batch certification and release and during their lifecycle, I also work closely with the onsite QP, providing support where necessary.

Working in quality requires collaboration between departments; working together creates a culture of continuous improvement, which I strive to implement to benefit both the QMS and the customer.

I have a BSc in Applied Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
