Marcus Jenkins is a Technical Consultant at SGS Quay Pharmaceuticals. Marcus has over 18 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, providing analytical and technical support to development and manufacture of clinical and commercial drug products. Having started at SGS Quay Pharma in 2006, Marcus has held various technical and quality roles throughout his career, mainly in Analytical Development and Technical Management but also encompassing Project Management, Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Pre-Clinical.

During this time Marcus has been instrumental in providing scientific support throughout product development and manufacture for all phases of clinical trials and commercial products. Marcus has specific expertise in development, validation and transfer of analytical methods, pre-clinical and clinical formulation development, Quality Risk Management and Cleaning Verification and Validation.

Marcus has a Batchelors in Chemistry from the University of Liverpool and a Masters in Pharmaceutical Industrial Advanced Training from the University of Manchester.
